We checked with other builders about doing a wheel-chair accessible home with no success, then we found Chambliss Builders and Rutland Pointe. We are so happy we did. Our home has extra wide hallways and doorways, an automatic front door, walk-in shower, and ramps from the patio and walkway to the entry doors. I've been in a wheelchair for 23 years, and this is the first time I've had a home where I can go in every single room. Our home would be great for an aging-in-place homeowner with a walker, scooter, etc. in their future. We promised our dog a fenced-in back yard with a house attached. She loves it all.
